The Hydro Type 1 is the ultimate Heavy Duty Board. It has all the features that the smaller models have ( Graduated channels , Nose & Tail Bumpers , Nose bulbs , Double Rails and a Double stringer ).
Core: PE (The classic bodyboard core, providing unrivalled response and control especially in larger, more hollow waves. The superior flex in a PE core allows for greater hold and manoeuvrability on the wave face - the preferred choice for colder waters where other cores may become too stiff and unresponsive)
Stringer: 2 x Carbon Graphite Stringers (Designed to add longevity to a board by improving stiffness and recoil while also greatly increasing the ability for projection. The stringers also enhance performance and control.)
Deck: 8lb PE decking (A super comfortable decking material that is designed to allow your body to lock with your board. Also very durable.)
Slick: HDPE Channelled Slick (A hardened slick material that is durable and fast, yet still super responsive)
Channels: Graduated Channels (Greatly enhance control and drive, ensuring the rider has maximum command over their board when bottom turning, trimming and transitioning from rail to rail.)
Tail: Clipped Crescent Tail (Provides superior control and hold on the wave face while also allowing for ease of rail to rail transitions and release from carves and spins.)
Additional Features:Slick Grips (Small bulbs on the underside of the nose of the board that enhance grip and control.), 60/40 Double Rail
